Even though it feels like fire season in August here in Southern California, I love the Santa Ana heat we're having. It feels like the weather we're having right now is making up for a summer we missed out on. I feel like I talk a lot about the weather on here, but to be honest, I really like the summer season. Ugh, okay, anyway. This is a wish list post, a visual list of things I want and what I plan on getting soon. There are some I didn't add to the pictures above which are just Nyx Jumbo Pencils in Black Bean and Milk, and what is not a Nyx product but an asian one that I mentioned earlier and are the Velcro pads that are supposed to pull your hair back when applying makeup. So today I was putting together a Nyx wish list when I went back on the site and saw a bronzer powder with a sailboat on it. I love all things nautical and Americana. One of my absolute favorite things about American nostalgia are lighthouses. But mostly the ones on the east coast that are big, bold, and by the sea. I love them. I'm rambling..
The other items by Nyx I plan on finding soon are the Lip Lacquers in Georgia Peach and maybe Coffee Run. If they're really nice, I might collect them all. I'm planning on finding that light pink blush in Angel and the contour color in Taupe. I also fell for their cute newest lipglosses in fruity containers. They look like those Asian lip balms that are 8 bucks for one fruit balm. The Nyx set for all four is only 9 dollars! Looks like a good steal.
